The Attorney General of New York filed a lawsuit against Trump for $ 250 million

New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit against former US President Donald Trump, his children,

 and related companies for $ 250 million on suspicion of fraud and providing false information, the court document says.

The Attorney General's Office has determined that the defendants are Donald Trump, Trump Organization LLC and Trump Organization, Inc.

Allen Weisselberg and other individuals and entities associated with Trump and his companies, referred to as the Defendants, were involved in numerous acts of fraud.

And misrepresentation in the preparation of Trump's annual reports on the financial condition covering at least the years from 2011 to 2021," the prosecutor general's lawsuit says.

In this regard, the Attorney General demands to award the return of all financial benefits received by each defendant from the fraudulent scheme

In a statement after filing the lawsuit, the attorney general said the defendants, including the former U.S. president, violated the criminal code laws of several states

Including forging documents, providing incorrect financial reports, participating in insurance fraud, taking mortgages at a lower percentage, and paying less taxes.

She said she was also demanding that the court ban Trump and his children from participating in or heading companies or corporations in New York, and

James is also asking the court to ban Trump and his affiliate Trump Organization from acquiring real estate in New York for five years.
